A seat in the United States Senate is not a small matter. Each state gets only two seats to fill, two people to represent our interests in the highest house of the legislative branch. We need the right people in those seats. People who are intelligent, compassionate, motivated, honest, and understanding.
There is a decision coming up, and it is the time to make sure that our interests are being upheld. This year we have a strong candidate, one who has worked hard in Washington as an advocate for the middle class. She established the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She was twice named one of Time Magazine’s most influential people of the year. She has studied bankruptcy law her entire legal career. There is no candidate in this race that knows more about economic troubles than she does. We need a senator who knows what she is doing, who knows how to best serve her constituents. Elizabeth Warren is the right candidate.
