Margaret Elaine Palmer and Peter James Saalfield, both 32, were married on Oct. 3, 2015, in Huntsville, Alabama. Maggie is the daughter of Elaine and George Hall and Norma and Terry Palmer, all of Huntsville. Peter is the son of Roseanne and Jim Saalfield of Woodchuck Hill Road.
Maggie’s attendants included friends and family from Huntsville, the University of Virginia, her Peace Corps years in Ukraine, and City University of New York law school. Peter was attended by his brother Jon, his best man, and friends from his Bromfield School graduating Class of 2002 and Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Harvard groomsmen included Tripp Nichols, Ethan Payne, and Brendan Sullivan. Peter’s niece and nephew, Adeline and Kai Lavalle, were flower girl and ring bearer. Peter’s maternal aunt, Peggy Brady, officiated.
Maggie is an attorney at the New York City Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings. Peter works for a communications consulting firm in Manhattan and was formerly a producer for the TV show “Charlie Rose.” The couple returned to their Brooklyn apartment following a honeymoon in Rome and Sicily.
