The ambulance responded to four calls and transported two patients to the hospital, both with Advanced Life Support services on board. The ambulance also responded to one motor vehicle collision.
Wednesday, Aug. 27
At 1:43 p.m. a carbon monoxide alarm went off at a Slough Road home; the duty officer found the alarm needed a new battery.
Sunday, Aug. 31
At 6:09 p.m. Engine 2 responded to a crash on Route 2 eastbound; the crew cleaned up minor fluid spills.
Monday, Sept. 1
At 2 a.m. Engine 2 was called to a crash on Route 2 eastbound. Firefighters cleaned up debris and also searched for the car’s occupants, who had left the scene. At 7:53 a.m. Engine 2 and the tower responded to a fire alarm on Ayer Road; it had been set off by a dirty detector. At 3:15 p.m. an alarm went off at a home on Warren Avenue; the duty officer found the alarm needed cleaning.
Wednesday, Sept. 3
At 9:23 a.m. Harvard’s drone was dispatched to aid Lancaster with a water rescue near Route 117, but the call was canceled. At 9:59 a.m. construction on Fairbank Street damaged a gas line and caused a leak; National Grid was notified.
Saturday, Sept. 6
At 4:50 p.m., during the storm, a 911 caller reported lights arcing at a Bolton Road residence. Engine 2, the tower, and the tanker responded, but the crews found nothing.
Sunday, Sept. 7
At 12:06 p.m. an alarm sounded on Elm Street. The crew from Engine 2 checked the area and found smoke from a grill had set off the alarm.
Monday, Sept. 8
At 3:49 p.m. there was the smell of smoke near Bolton Road. The duty officer checked the area but found no smoke or fire.
