In a June 26 press release, state Fire Marshal Jon M. Davine announced the graduation of 31 recruits from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy’s Call and Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training Program. Harvard firefighters Christopher Tota and Christopher Murphy were among the graduates from 22 towns.
Tota was also the recipient of the Martin H. McNamara Outstanding Student Award, presented to the recruit best demonstrating academic and practical skills.
