Living history tour of Revolutionary War soldiers’ graves
The Harvard Historical Society will hold a living history tour of the Center Cemetery Saturday, May 31. Visit the graves of six Revolutionary War soldiers, and hear their stories told by reenactors. Tours start at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.; meet in front of the Congregational Church on Still River Road. Free, but donations are welcome. The Harvard-based rock band Sonic Union returns to Craft Food Halls, 500 Beaver Brook Road, Boxborough, Friday, May 30, 5 to 8 p.m. The group will play a selection of favorite tunes from the ’60s to the present.
New moon birthing ceremony

Climate Initiative Committee home tours
On Saturday, May 31, 2 to 4 p.m., meet homeowners who will share their knowledge and experiences about approaches to sustainable living. Five homes will be open for visits. Opening reception for pastels exhibit
Fruitlands Museum will host an opening reception for the biannual group show of the Central Massachusetts Pastel Society Sunday, June 1, 1 to 3 p.m., at 102 Prospect Hill Road. See the works of elected professional artists in a show celebrating the beauty of color and light in a wonderful and diverse medium. Admission to the Wayside Gallery for the reception is free.
Kite festival
Fruitlands Museum and Kites Over New England will hold a kite festival Saturday, June 7, 1 to 4 p.m, at 102 Prospect Hill Road. Rain date Sunday, June 8. Take in the sweeping views from atop the hillside and celebrate the landscape as kites fill the sky. Bring your own to join the spectacle. Bare Hill triathlon
The Bare Hill sprint triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike races will take place Sunday, June 8, 8 a.m., starting and finishing at the library at 4 Pond Road.
- The sprint triathlon (individual and relay) consists of a 0.3-mile swim, 10.3-mile bike ride, and a 3.1-mile run.
- The duathlon is a 1.6-mile run, 10.3-mile bike ride, and a 3.1-mile run.
- The aquabike is a 0.3-mile swim and 10.3-mile bike ride.

Fusion power on the grid
Commonwealth Fusion Systems will host an informal conversation about the future of clean energy Tuesday, June 10, 5 p.m., at Sterling Street Brewery, 65 Jackson Road, Devens. CFS Business Development and Intelligence Manager Teasha Feldman-Fitzthum will review the current state of the U.S. power grid, discuss how an ARC fusion power plant will operate on the grid, and how fusion power can make the clean energy transition affordable.

Concord Band at Fruitlands
The Concord Band returns to Fruitlands Museum for their summer concert series, Wednesdays, June 11 to July 16, at 102 Prospect Hill Road.
