The Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts honored three Harvard Girl Scout leaders for their outstanding service at the 2025 annual meeting and volunteer recognition celebration held on Sunday, May 18, at the Castle of Knights in Chicopee.
Jon Turner, leader of Daisy Troop 65440, received the Rising Star award; Veronica Marciniak, leader for Cadette Troop 65075 and Junior Troop 65339, received the Volunteer of Excellence pin; and Mary Arata, leader of Ambassador Troop 41003, received the Appreciation pin. These leaders are integral members of the Apple Blossom Service Unit, which consists of troops from Harvard and Bolton and Girl Scouts in kindergarten through grade 12.
