Boys swimming (5-1, 5-4)
- 1/30 Midland-Wachusett League Invitational Swim and Dive Championships. The boys team placed fourth in the 12-school league meet with 208 points; the Grafton Gators won the championship with 383 points. Bromfield’s Vance Petrossi placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke and third in the 200-yard freestyle races. The 200-yard freestyle relay team was third in its event.

Girls swimming (6-0, 10-0 )
- 1/30 Midland-Wachusett League Invitational Swim and Dive Championships. The girls team won the 12-school league event with 311 points, narrowly beating Grafton by 7 points. Eliana Laham was first in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle races. The girls 400-yard relay team was first in its event, beating Gardner by a mere one-hundredth of a second. Upcoming meets

Boys and girls indoor track
- 2/2 Midland-Wachusett League D championship. The Bromfield boys, competing in nine of 12 events, placed fourth among the six teams in Division D; the nine-member girls squad placed fifth. Once again, the team’s distance runners led the way. Harrison Binnick won the boys 1-mile race, and Ben McWaters won the 2-mile. Evelyn Wool won the girls 1-mile and Rosie Bradley the 2-mile. The girls 4×800 relay team, led by Bradley and anchored by Wool, won first place in its event.

Boys and girls Alpine skiing (Bromfield/North Middlesex co-op)
- 1/28 Race 4 slalom. Boys (29-2-1) placed second in last week’s slalom with 414 points, but advanced to first place in the nine-school Mass. Bay West League Alpha Division following a weak performance by Acton-Boxborough. The Bromfield girls (13-9-0), a five-member team, finished third with 387 points, their best performance yet, and advanced to sixth place in the division.
