Regular season play has ended for Bromfield’s varsity teams, and for some, tournament season ended as well this past week. The Bromfield Ayer Shirley co-op boys swim team wrapped up their season at Boston University where they competed in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 2 State Championship. And senior Evelyn Wool and junior Rosie Bradley represented Bromfield at this year’s MIAA Girls Indoor Track Meet of Champions, racing together in the 2-mile against nationally ranked competitors.
The boys and girls basketball teams both qualified for the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 4 Tournament and were scheduled to play their preliminary rounds this week. So too were the Littleton/Bromfield Tigers, the No. 4 seed in their division, and, who, after a bye, were scheduled to face Bourne (No. 29 seed) in a round of 32 match on ice at the Tigers’ home rink in Groton School.

- 2/22 MIAA Division 2 Boys Swimming and Diving State Championship. Boys tied for 27th place with Tantasqua Regional among 42 competing schools.

- 2/22 MIAA Track and Field Girls State Championship (aka Meet of Champions). Junior Rosie Bradley placed 11th and Evelyn Wool placed 13th among the 21 runners competing in the 2-mile.
