The Harvard Lions Club would like to thank our sponsors, vendors, racers, community volunteers, and all who attended and supported Winter Fest 2024, with special thanks to Fruitlands Museum, which co-hosted the event at their beautiful venue, Harvard PTO, Garden Club of Harvard, Council on Aging, Fiber Loft, and the Harvard Family Association, which ran various events. Kudos to the Harvard Ambulance Service which made sure everyone was safe, Harvard Cable TV, the Harvard Press, and all the individuals who entered our various contests.
We appreciate all who submitted entries in the People’s Choice chili and mac and cheese contests. Winners for the contests and races are listed on our website. The Wassail King and Queen, Blase Provitola and Linda Hoffman from Old Frog Pond Farm in Harvard, joined our Wassail Singers to raise a toast to the local orchards for a banner 2024 apple harvest. It was a great outdoor event to mingle with neighbors, and participate in the event in a safe and healthy environment. Based on the smiles, everyone appeared to have a great time.
