The winter season ended for Bromfield’s varsity teams last week as the boys Alpine ski and ice hockey teams competed in the final Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association tournaments of 2024.
Tryouts and practices have already begun for spring track and field, tennis, baseball, and girls lacrosse. And for the first time in several seasons, Bromfield will field a varsity softball team. Although some teams will scrimmage before the season begins, competition begins the first week of April. The Sports Roundup will be on vacation until then.
Boys swimming (6-1 league, 9-2 all)

Boys Alpine skiing – Bromfield/North Middlesex Co-op (42-6)

2/28 Round of 32 MIAA Division 4 state tournament vs. Lunenburg, 4-2 loss.
