Boys basketball (league 6-6, all 11-7)

  • 2/14 vs. Assabet Valley Regional Tech (N), 47-35 win
  • 2/15 vs. Gardner, 55-41 win

End of regular season. 

Upcoming: MIAA state tournament. Brackets and dates expected Feb. 24.


Girls basketball (3-9, 9-9)

  • 2/14 @Assabet Valley Regional Technical (N), 43-22 win

End of regular season.

Boys swimming (6-1, 9-2)

  • 2/18 MIAA Division 2 state championship. With its short list of swimmers who qualified, Bromfield placed 27th among the 38 competing schools. Weston High School won the event. Vance Petrossi placed eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke and 18th in the 100-yard freestyle. The 200-yard freestyle relay team placed 13th.

Girls swimming (4-3, 7-4)

  • 2/17-18 MIAA Division 2 state championship. Girls placed 29th among 39 Division 2 schools. Weston won the state championship. Ella Bergeron had the best performance of the day, placing 11th in the 100-yard backstroke and 12th in the 100-yard freestyle.

Boys indoor track

  • 2/14 MIAA Division 5 state championship. Boys placed seventh among the 38 Division 5 schools competing for the championship. Littleton won the event, but Bromfield athletes won their share of top-10 medals, including gold for Colin Harte, who won the 300-meter, and for Jack Stahl, who won 600-meter. The boys 4×800-meter relay team was third in its event. The boys competed in six of 13 events.

Girls indoor track

  • 2/14 MIAA Division 5 state championship. Girls tied for 14th place with Seekonk and Ipswich among the 38 schools competing in the event. The team entered six of 13 events. Rosie Bradley won the 2-mile race. The girls 4×800-meter relay team was third in its event.

Boys Alpine skiing – Bromfield/North Middlesex Co-op (42-6)

  • 2/14 Slalom. Boys placed second, ending the season second only to archrival Westford Academy. With four of its skiers among the top 10 in the Bay West League Alpha Division, the team has qualified to compete as a team at the state championship meet.

Upcoming meets

  • 2/27 MIAA State Alpine ski meet (at Wachusett Mountain), 9:30 a.m.

Girls Alpine skiing – Bromfield/North Middlesex Co-op (8-40)

  • 2/13 Slalom. Girls placed seventh in the slalom among the nine teams of the Bay West Alpha Division. The team ended its season eighth in the Alpha Division, beating the last place Westford Academy girls team by 3 points. The team did not qualify for states. However, Madison Rausch, ranked 20th in the league, was just four places away from qualifying.

Ice hockey – Littleton/Bromfield/Parker Co-op (8-4, 10-9)

  • 2/14 vs. Leominster, 4-0 win
  • 2/17 vs. Gardner, 1-0 win
  • 2/19 Nashoba Valley Cup vs. Lunenburg, 2-1 loss
  • 2/22 Nashoba Valley Cup vs. Groton Dunstable, NA

2/26 MIAA Division 4 state tournament, brackets to be announced.
