The Ambulance Service responded to four calls and transported two patients to the hospital, one with Advanced Life Support services on board. There were two motor vehicle collisions, and one person needed a lift assist.
Tuesday, Nov. 14
At 8:35 a.m. Harvard firefighters were called to the crash on Interstate 495 southbound, but the call was canceled while they were on the way.
Thursday, Nov. 16
At 7:38 a.m. Engines 2 and 4 went to the scene of a crash on Route 2 eastbound. The crews helped with traffic safety and cleared up debris.
Friday, Nov. 17
At 8:51 a.m. a 911 call brought firefighters with the forestry truck to put out a brush fire along a driveway on East Bare Hill Road. The fire involved about 1,000 square feet. An investigation showed the fire started from the disposal of hot wood stove ashes amid dry leaves.
