Harvard artists taking home ribbons at the recent “Destination: Nature” exhibit at Fivesparks were
as follows:
First place: Judith Schutzman, “Dark Descending Triptych” (printmaking).
Honorable mentions: Linda Hoffman, “Fungal Prayers” (sculpture); Petri Flint, “Rock Portal, Winter Solstice” (oil); John Ferrillo, “Oxbow, Wildlife Refuge Marsh” (photography); Nilima Kolli, “Wood Grain” (hand-cut paper).
Out of town winners are George Hancin of Whitinsville, who took second place for “Fruitlands Diptych” (oil); Barb Bender of Acton, with third place for “A Walking Tour” (fused and stained glass panel); and Dee Cohen of Ayer, who received an honorable mention for “First Light Remembers Autumn” (oil).
