Lindsay Ames, the town’s treasurer-collector, was named a certified collector by the Massachusetts Collector Treasurer Association, MCTA, in September. Ames has worked in municipal government for over a decade in a number of communities, and has worked for the town since May 2018, first as assistant treasurer-collector and since May 2019 as treasurer-collector.
Jared Mullane, the town’s finance director and accountant since January 2021, was nominated and elected in August as president of the Eastern Massachusetts Municipal Auditors and Accountants Association. A certified government accountant (through the Massachusetts Municipal Auditors and Accountants Association), Mullane is also licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a school business administrator.
