On behalf of the Harvard Neighborhood Support Team, I would like to thank the Select Board for extending the lease of the Bromfield House to the end of the school year. This wonderful gesture allows the Afghan children another full year in our wonderful schools and more time for their parents to map out their next steps.
In addition, I would like to acknowledge the generous support of our town businesses. Beyond Construction resolved the code issues of the Bromfield House with a beautiful solution, and Jasonics has bent over backwards to update the building’s fire safety system with the support of our Fire Department.
The generosity of our town employees, volunteer organizations, churches, and individual citizens is overwhelming. We are all grateful and proud to live in this community.
