Yoga on the Common
Jocelyn Halloran will be holding Yoga on the Common Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. throughout the month of June. Participants are asked to bring a weekly donation for Nevins Farm or Loaves & Fishes.

Energy coaching
The Harvard Climate Initiative will host a meeting with volunteer energy coaches Saturday, June 10, at 1 p.m., at the General Store, 1 Still River Road, second floor. The coaches are experienced with air source (mini-split or ducted) systems and ground source (geothermal) systems. Learn about heat pump system alternatives including their cost effectiveness and how to find and evaluate sellers and installers.
Discussing politics
The Harvard Republican Town Committee will host a presentation by Lisa Mair, school committee member in Berlin-Boylston, on Wednesday, June 14, at 7 p.m. at the Congregational Church, 5 Still River Road. Mair will explain what motivated her to run for the state Senate as an independent candidate and discuss the process of running for political office in Massachusetts.
Let there be music
There will be “A Concert of Songs by Steve Peisch,” Thursday, June 22, at 7 p.m. in Volunteers Hall at the public library, 4 Pond Road. The presentation will feature three singers, piano, and drums, and will spotlight modern classical, rock, folk, gospel, and country music. Sculpture exhibit
New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, 11 French Drive, Boylston, is hosting “CHIAOZZA: A Sculpture Exhibition,” through October 15. This exhibit by Brooklyn-based artists Adam Frezza and Terri Chiao explores the wonders of the plant world and celebrates the parallels between horticultural experimentation and art-making.

Bromfield grad in documentary
A special screening of the film “A Reckoning in Boston” followed by a Q&A session will be held Thursday, June 15, 7 p.m., in the Media Conference Center at Lawrence Academy, 44 Main Street, Groton.
Carl Chandler, known as Reggie when he attended the Bromfield School in the Class of 1967, is a collaborator and producer of this documentary directed by James Rutenbeck, which explores the harsh realities of violence, racism, and gentrification. Attendees will have the chance to speak with Chandler and Rutenbeck and gain insights into the making of the film, the challenges faced during its production, and the personal transformations of the individuals involved. Seating is limited.
Devens Family Fun Day
Celebrate the season opening of Mirror Lake, Mirror Lake Road, Devens, with water sports, beach volleyball, an inflatable slide, and more, Sunday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The beach will open for the season on Saturday, June 17.
Juneteenth at Groton Hill

Birder and photographer Ken Janes will present “Life List: An Evening of Bird Photography and Field Notes,” Monday, June 19, at 7 p.m. at the Lawrence Academy Media Conference Center, 26 Powderhouse Road, Groton. Janes’ images have appeared in his book “Life List,” and he is the author and photographer of “Florida Birds: A Birdwatcher Discovers the Sunshine State” to appear in November. This event is open to the public with a $10 donation; proceeds to be donated to the Nashua River Watershed Association.
‘Race’ to benefit Habitat for Humanity
Win the race and get a medal just by crossing the starting line at the “0.0 Race,” Thursday, June 22, at 6 p.m., at Sterling Street Brewery, 175 Sterling Street, Clinton.
