In the past week, police made six motor vehicle stops, resulting in five verbal warnings and one written warning. They also made two well-being checks, responded to two false burglar alarms, and checked on one disabled vehicle.
The Ambulance Service responded to seven calls and transported three patients to the hospital, none with Advanced Life Support services onboard. There was one motor vehicle collision and one lift assist.
Tuesday, May 9
At 12:04 p.m. a caller reported a dachshund running loose near the intersection of Bowers Road and Tahanto Trail; the dog had a collar and tags, and the animal control officer was notified.
Wednesday, May 10
At 11:56 a.m. a resident came to the police station to report a false claim for unemployment benefits had been filed in their name. At 12:58 p.m. the police chief saw an illegally parked car blocking the entrance to the cemetery in the town center; the owner was notified and moved the car.

Friday, May 12
At 9:14 p.m. someone reported a dog had been barking for a long time near Abbot Lane; the dog was quiet when the officer arrived, and the officer was unable to reach its owner. At 10:18 p.m. a caller told police a dog was loose on Ayer Road; the owner was notified and picked it up.
Saturday, May 13
At 7:41 a.m. a Peninsula Road resident called to say their yellow Lab had been missing since the previous afternoon; police informed the animal control officer. At 1:09 p.m. Littleton police asked for help in identifying a driver who had left the scene of a crash; Harvard police identified the driver but found no one home at their residence. At 8:52 p.m. a caller again reported a dog barking on Abbot Lane.
Sunday, May 14
At 1 p.m. a burglar alarm went off at a Whitney Road home; police searched the area but found nothing amiss. At 11:23 p.m. an Old Littleton Road resident called 911 to say a car had stopped at their house, leading their dog to become agitated; the car was gone when police arrived.
Monday, May 15
At 11:55 a.m. police units stood by to ensure compliance with a court order at an Old Littleton Road residence. At 2:36 p.m. a set of keys, including one to a Nissan Cube, was turned in at the police station. At 3:02 p.m. a Prospect Hill Road resident came to the station to turn in a black-and-white Proflight arrow found in their backyard. At 8:16 p.m. a caller told police that, while at a baseball game on Depot Road, their children had found a bag of bones behind a nearby tractor; police determined they were animal bones.
