It’s been a banner week at the Press—and we plan to change our banner accordingly. The general excellence prize awarded the paper by the New England Newspaper & Press Association last week is long-sought regional recognition for the quality of work done by the team that reports, edits, and produces the Harvard Press each week.
But it’s clear we have an advantage not shared by many others in our cohort. At a time when small weekly papers like ours are disappearing every day, the support of you, our readers and advertisers, your appreciation, encouragement, and yes, financial support are critical to sustaining the work we do.
