In the past week, police made 39 motor vehicle stops, resulting in two verbal warnings and 36 written warnings; one car was towed because its muffler was dragging on the ground, making sparks. Police also checked on a disabled motor vehicle, made three well-being checks, and responded to two false burglar alarms.
The Ambulance Service responded to one call and transported one patient to the hospital; Advanced Life Support service was not involved. The ambulance responded to one motor vehicle collision this week. No one needed a lift assist.
Tuesday, April 11
At 1:29 p.m. a Westcott Road resident reported receiving a package with items he had not ordered. At 7:04 p.m. police got a call from a home on Woodchuck Hill Road where the housesitter had accidentally set off the alarm system and did not know how to deactivate it; an officer shut off the alarm.
Wednesday, April 12
At 5:47 p.m. one car rear-ended another on Myrick Lane near the intersection with Ayer Road; no one was injured. At 6:37 p.m. a crash on Route 2 westbound injured one person; state police had jurisdiction.
Thursday, April 13
At 12:56 a.m. a 911 caller reported a car had gone off West Bare Hill Road and was teetering on a stone wall at the top of a slope. An officer stood on the back of the car to stabilize it, and the driver got out safely.

Nothing significant to report.
Monday, April 17
At 11:32 a.m. someone called 911 to report a logging truck speeding on Bolton Road; the truck had left the area when police arrived.
