At 7:40 a.m. a carbon monoxide detector went off at a Shaker Road home. The duty officer checked and determined there was no hazard; the alarm was likely caused by the power outage around that time. At 4:52 p.m. Harvard firefighters were called to assist the Bolton Fire Department at a brush fire near the intersection of Main Street and East End Road. Harvard’s tanker was used to fight the fire, while a second Harvard engine kept the tanker supplied with water. Firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.
