Fivesparks, Harvard’s community arts and culture nonprofit organization, has announced that AnaMaria Nanra has been named executive director. In this role, she will manage programming, exhibits and events, and volunteers.
Nanra has been volunteering at Fivesparks since she moved to Harvard from New York with her husband and daughter in 2017. According to Mark Mikitarian, president of Fivesparks’ board of directors, Nanra has been instrumental in expanding program offerings and exhibits, promoting collaboration with other community organizations, and overseeing the volunteer team that keeps Fivesparks accessible to the public.
