At 9:05 p.m. a Bolton Road resident called 911 after hearing a loud blast in the house. Firefighters found a coolant line to the air conditioning system had burst; they advised the homeowner to call a repair service. At 10:03 p.m. Engine 2 and the ambulance were called to a one-car crash on Route 2 westbound. Firefighters helped direct traffic, and the Harvard ambulance took one person to the hospital. At 10:23 p.m. the Engine 2 crew was back on Route 2 westbound with another single-car crash; firefighters directed traffic and cleared debris and fluids from the road. The Ayer ambulance took one injured person to the hospital, as the Harvard crew was still on the previous call.
Friday, Nov. 18
At 4:35 p.m. Engine 4 and the tanker went on a mutual aid call to help Bolton at a building fire on Berlin Road; the Harvard crew was there for about two hours. At 7:34 p.m. an Eldridge Road resident called about a strange odor in the basement. The duty officer found that the home’s furnace was out of oil.
Saturday, Nov. 19: At 10:47 a.m. a fire alarm went off at the Holy Trinity Rectory; the duty officer checked and found the cause was burned food.

Sunday, Nov. 20
At 2:48 p.m. the Berlin Fire Department called for mutual aid at a vehicle fire on Pleasant Street. But Berlin canceled the call while the Harvard tanker and crew were on the way.
Monday, Nov. 21
At 10:35 a.m. Bolton called for mutual aid at a vehicle crash on Interstate 495 northbound, but again the call was canceled while the Harvard firefighters were on their way.
