The Baker-Polito Administration announced Tuesday, Nov. 22, that it plans to establish a temporary central intake center at Devens as part of the Commonwealth’s response to substantially increased demand for housing. The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency will temporarily use the Bob Eisengrein Community Center in Devens as an intake center where up to 60 families at a time can reside during their first few days in shelter and receive services before being moved to more permanent housing.
