On Monday, Oct. 17, led by Jen Schoenberg (COA outreach coordinator and firefighter), trained volunteers helped mature drivers complete a 12-point safety and educational checklist providing instruction on items such as correct position of a driver’s seat, a driver’s ability to reach pedals, proper adjustment of mirrors, and more. Consultation with an occupational therapist was included and recommendations made when needed.
