With the start of the new school year we have increased weekday traffic near Hildreth Elementary School. Not only do drivers need to be aware of kids and staff at the school but also the Afghan families now residing at Bromfield House. Vehicles traveling toward town center on Mass. Ave. at the intersection of Bolton Road must make a sharp right turn with the added momentum from going downhill. The driveway to Bromfield House is not visible coming from this direction, a blind driveway with children in the vicinity. Long-debated Bromfield House hosts a family with young children in close proximity with vehicles unaware of their presence. And we drivers need to be particularly mindful of our new guests all day long, and not just during business hours.
