Relatives and friends of Mary Anderson are invited to attend visiting hours at St. Benedict Abbey at 252 Still River Road on Monday, July 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 26, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish, 80 Union Street, Clinton. Burial will be at Bellevue Cemetery in Harvard. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary School, c/o St. Benedict Center, P.O. Box 1000, Harvard, MA 01451. Donations can also be made online at immaculateheartschool.org/donations.
Anderson, a 23-year-old resident of Still River, died Tuesday in Brattleboro, Vermont. Her death is considered a homicide. Matthew Davis of Fitchburg, a person of interest in Anderson’s death, was shot to death by police Tuesday night in West Brattleboro.
