The baseball, girls and boys tennis, and girls lacrosse teams advanced to the Massachusetts Interscholastic Association round of 16 playoffs this week—known as the “sweet sixteen”—where all but one were eliminated. The girls lacrosse team continued to dispatch its Division 3 competitors with lopsided outcomes until Tuesday, June 14, when a well-prepared Foxborough team nearly ended its quest for a Division 3 title.


Girls Lacrosse (League 8-0, All 20-1)

  • 6/9 MIAA Division 3 tournament round of 32 vs. Malden Catholic, 18-5 win
  • 6/11 MIAA Division 3 tournament round of 16 vs. North Middlesex Regional, 16-5 win
  • 6/14 MIAA Division 3 tournament round of 8 (quarterfinal) vs. Foxboro, 9-8 win.

Boys Tennis (5-5, 11-8)

  • 6/5 MIAA Division 4 tournament round of 32 vs. Winthrop, 5-0 win
  • 6/8 MIAA Division 4 tournament round of 16 vs. Manchester Essex Regional, 4-1 loss
