The girls lacrosse and tennis teams continue to hold the top spot in their leagues with matching 14-1 records. Both are preparing for Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association postseason championships. In the MIAA’s latest May 23 power rankings, the girls lacrosse team remained fourth among the 51 Massachusetts schools in Division 3. The girls tennis players advanced to 17th place among the 65 schools of Division 4. The schedule and brackets for this spring’s statewide MIAA division tournaments have not been announced.
Meanwhile the girls and boys tennis teams are competing in a tournament hosted by the Central Mass. Athletic Directors Association. Both teams won their quarterfinal matches on Tuesday, May 24, and were scheduled to play their semifinal opponents on Wednesday, May 25.
