At 11:09 a.m. a fire alarm came in from a Highland Avenue home; it had been set off by a power outage.
Friday, April 22
A 6:33 p.m. fire alarm at the rectory next to St. Theresa Catholic Church was set off by some scorched food.
Saturday, April 23
At 9:41 a.m. Engine 2 responded to a call about gasoline leaking from a generator in a garage on Madigan Lane. Firefighters fixed the leak and put down chemicals to absorb the spill. At 10:29 a.m. a caller reported seeing smoke along Ayer Road; it turned out to come from a permitted open burn.
Monday, April 25
At 10:41 a.m. a firefighter was concerned about smoke visible from Still River, but a check showed it came from a controlled burn the state was carrying out on the Devens South Post. (Someone had neglected to let Harvard know about the planned burn.)
