Fill ’er up

The Bare Hill Pond Watershed Management Committee reports that the drawdown of the pond has ended. The pump has now been shut off so that water coming into the pond is no longer pumped out to maintain the drawdown. The refill will proceed slowly until there is rainfall or significant snow melt. The committee asks that residents use caution: This year’s late freeze means the ice thickness is variable and can change during refilling as well.
