I read that Parks and Rec is trying to outsource landscaping/field work. May I suggest that any town contract require the use of electrical or battery-powered lawn equipment? Some states and towns are banning the use of gasoline lawn equipment altogether and I think our town should do the same.
Apart from the obvious environmental and cost benefits to the town, it would rid the town of the noise of gasoline equipment, which has grown in use over the years and disturbs the ambiance of our town.
