Bromfield athletes returned this week to Central Mass. courts, slopes, tracks, and pools following the holiday break. The Press will be doing its best to keep up with varsity boys and girls basketball, track and field, Alpine skiing, and swimming and diving.
COVID-19 once again threatens to upend the season. Midland-Wachusett League officials met Jan. 3 and voted to restrict spectators at indoor events to parents and immediate household relatives. Spectators and athletes at indoor events must wear masks that cover the nose and mouth, with the exception of swimmers and divers who may remove their masks for the duration of their events. Alpine skiing, an outdoor event, has no mask requirement and no restrictions on who may attend.
