The boys soccer team (9-0) remained atop the Midland-Wachusett C Division this week, undefeated after victories over Littleton, Tyngsborough, and Fitchburg. The girls turned the tables on Littleton, beating the Tigers 2-1 in their Oct. 1 rematch and advancing to first place in their division. On Tuesday afternoon, however, both teams lost their first non-division games of the season to Division A Algonquin.
The cross-country girls (4-0) handed a convincing 17-45 defeat to Quabbin Regional High School’s runners in their penultimate meet of the season. If they continued their winning ways at the team’s Oct. 6 final meet against Tyngsborough, the girls will enter the Midland-Wachusett League championships at the end of this month as first in their division.
