The undefeated varsity girls lacrosse players wrapped up their third straight Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Central West Division 2 championship by first defeating semifinalist Wahconah Regional High School 17-5 last Wednesday and then overpowering Mt. Greylock Regional High School 17-3 on Friday. Then, on June 29, the Trojans beat South champion Norwell High School 14-2 to advance to the Division 2 State final. (See story above.)
Three individuals and two relay teams qualified for the All-State track and field competition held June 26 at Norwell High School. The boys 4×400 relay team broke the Bromfield School record for that event, while senior Hannah Beckman capped her career as a Trojan with a sixth-place finish in the 800-meter race.
