I first wish to extend sincere thanks to Lucy Wallace for 15 years of dedicated service to our town as a member of the Select Board.
Though we have not always agreed on issues, she has worked tirelessly to make Harvard a great town. With her retirement this year we have three candidates: Richard Cabelus, a three-year resident of Harvard, and Michael Maglothin, a two-year resident of our town, as well as Erin McBee. It’s great to see new residents interested in participating in the growth and important issues our town will be facing.
I have decided to support Richard Cabelus for the Select Board. This decision is based on his length of time in Harvard, his participation in our town as a member of the Harvard Historical Commission, and his public thoughts relative to Harvard. He will bring a fresh point of view to the Select Board.
