At 1:37 p.m. the Fire Department was called to the scene of the car crash on Stow Road to deal with fluids on the road. At 5:28 p.m. a 911 caller reported the smell of smoke on Cleaves Hill Road. The firefighter on duty found an illegal burn in the area and ordered it put out.
Monday, May 24
At 12:59 p.m. firefighters were notified of a gas leak on Fairbank Street, where a worker had dropped a tool and accidentally broken a gas regulator. The firefighters shut off the gas, cleared the gas out of the house, and notified National Grid.
