Local Scouts celebrated Earth Day by constructing a boardwalk on Harvard’s portion of the Bowers Springs conservation area. The boardwalk was designed by Christian Lancellotti as an Eagle Scout service project. Christian, John Zobbi, Matt Zobbi, and Tim Zobbi of Troop 1 Harvard, and Veronica Langlais of Troop 19 Littleton assembled the boardwalk sections on April 19. Christian, Noah Picciarello, Jack Babcock, Eric Bilafer, and Scott Patuto of Troop 1 Harvard installed the boardwalk on Earth Day.
