During the past week, police made four motor vehicle stops, which resulted in three verbal warnings and one written warning or citation. Emergency responders received eight medical calls and transported three people to the hospital, one with Advanced Life Support services in attendance. There were two calls for lift assists, two for well-being checks, and one for a mental health evaluation. There were also four false burglar alarms.

Wednesday, April 7
At 7:43 a.m. a caller reported a dead animal near the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Slough Road, and police removed the carcass. At 9:10 a.m. Boxborough asked for assistance with a collision on Interstate 495 southbound (see Fire Log below). At 7:41 p.m. an officer warned people at the Prospect Hill overlook that the area was closed after sunset; gatherings there have been the subject of several recent neighborhood complaints.
Thursday, April 8
At 9:46 p.m. a caller complained about a black sedan speeding near the intersection of Pinnacle and Old Littleton roads; police did not locate the sedan.
Friday, April 9
At 11:32 a.m. a car was ticketed for violating parking regulations at Bare Hill Pond.
Saturday, April 10
At 11:08 a.m. a resident called with safety concerns about gatherings at the Prospect Hill overlook; she said people were sometimes standing atop cars and some drivers were peeling out of the parking area. At 6:42 p.m. a caller reported ongoing problems with cars speeding on Still River Road; police units were advised. At 10:52 p.m. Ayer police notified Harvard to be on the lookout for a gray hatchback; the two occupants had been in a shouting match in Ayer and then drove off toward Harvard.
Sunday, April 11
At 2:11 a.m. a 911 caller reported a collision on Route 2 westbound.
