MRPC study a waste of money; new houses equal new schools

February 11, 2021

As a retired home builder I was aghast at the prediction that 4,028 homes could be built in Harvard. Have they considered wetlands, ledge that abounds, tough topography, soils that don’t perc well, and lack of town water in determining these numbers? In my opinion, these studies are a waste of money, especially when many people in town are trying to keep Harvard as a small town. Places like Harvard are disappearing quickly. Just think—with all those houses we will have to build two new schools.
