Democracy is strengthened only when we vote. And it is weakened when we take voting for granted. By voting, we are making a statement that we believe in democracy.
Harvard citizens have always shown up well at the polls. This year, over 90% of eligible voters cast ballots and made their voices heard. Regardless of how individual candidates or ballot questions fared, high voter turnout inspires confidence and shows continued faith in our form of government.
