Library hosts virtual storytimes and book groups
All storytimes, book groups, and events are virtual via Zoom. To learn more, or to be added to a storytime or book group, send an email to childrensroom@harvardpubliclibrary.org and indicate your child’s age. A unique Zoom link will be emailed to participants the day before each meeting.
Please note: Groups are limited to Harvard residents or HES/Bromfield students. Others may register one week in advance provided there is space available.

Fivesparks holds virtual holiday fair
Fivesparks is hosting a virtual holiday arts and crafts fair featuring unique, handmade gifts: paintings, pottery, glass art, wooden wares, fiber arts, soaps, jewelry, and more. Support local arts and give one-of-a-kind gifts to your friends and family. The fair went live online last month at fivesparks.org/holiday-arts-crafts-fair.

Bromfield Drama Society presents ‘She Kills Monsters’
The Bromfield Drama Society will present a virtual production of the dark comedy “She Kills Monsters” by Qui Nguyen.
The play tells the story of Agnes Evans, who loses her younger sister Tilly in a car accident. Having been distant from Tilly while she was alive, Agnes embarks on an adventure to get to know her sister better by playing a Dungeons & Dragons game that Tilly had written, and discovers things she’d never imagined. Life of Massachusetts suffragist featured at Woman’s Club meeting
On Monday, Dec. 7, at 12:30 p.m. the Harvard Woman’s Club will present “How to Move Mountains of Complacency,” stories from the life of Massachusetts suffragist Katharine Morey. Narrated by Harvard resident Helen Batchelder, the program focuses on Morey’s role in the 1916 Congressional Union for Women’s Suffrage on its “Suffrage Special” journey throughout the United States, a movement that contributed to ratification of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote.

Indian Hill hosts family holiday singalong
Indian Hill Music will host an online holiday singalong for families Saturday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. Sing, clap, and dance to holiday songs and rhymes and meet some special guests from the North Pole. Space is limited for this free virtual event. Go to https://bit.ly/33jzWHC to sign up.
Historical Society to hold annual meeting
The Harvard Historical Society’s annual meeting will be held Thursday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The public is invited. Anyone interested in attending should send email to curator@harvardhistory.org requesting the Zoom link.
Santa Claus is coming to town
Get out your jingle bells ’cause Santa Claus is coming to town Saturday, Dec. 19 at 1 p.m. He’ll be driving all over town, so wave to him from your front lawn as he drives by.
