Loaves & Fishes
Loaves & Fishes will offer drive-thru pantry access Oct. 30 and Nov. 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 21, and 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be a special Thanksgiving dinner distribution Monday, Nov. 23, 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 5 p.m.
Curbside pickup at the library
Curbside pickup is available six days a week at the Harvard Public Library:
- Monday and Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tuesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tick reminder from the Board of Health
Ticks are active throughout the year. The Board of Health encourages everyone to get outdoors, but to wear tick-repellent clothing and to do a tick check when you get home. Go to https://www.harvard.ma.us/board-health/pages/ticks for more information about ticks.
Polls are open Nov. 3
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3; voting is 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bromfield School.
Voter entry will be through the main entrance of the school, and exit will be only through the outside cafeteria doors.
The number of people inside the polling area will be limited due to COVID restrictions. Please follow these guidelines:
- Wear a face covering.
- Bring a pen with blue or black ink. There will also be unused and sanitized pens available at the polls.
- Bring an ID. In some cases voters may be required to show one.
- Maintain social distancing; stay 6 feet away from anyone not from your household.
- Keep your ballot dry and free from hand sanitizers; moisture causes ballots to jam in the voting machines.

Fivesparks solicits artists for online holiday fair
Fivesparks will be going live in early November with its online Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair. Many artists from last year’s December Fest have already signed up to participate. If you would like to be a participating artist, please register at tinyurl.com/FSholidayfair. New artists will be added regularly throughout the holiday season.
Commission on Disabilities seeks members
Harvard’s Commission on Disabilities (CoD) was established in January 2020 to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of community life and to assist local disability advocates. Harvard’s CoD is a five-member group. There are currently two open seats that, according to Select Board guidelines, must be filled by persons with disabilities, or by a member of the immediate family of a person with a disability. This is an opportunity to be appointed to a town organization wholly invested in access and inclusion.
