Sports enthusiast, youth soccer coach

Mike Myles, 50, beloved Harvard resident, died peacefully on Wednesday evening, Aug. 5, 2020. He was the loving husband of Ruth and proud father of sons Alex and Theo, daughters Olivia and Imogen, and grandson Tanner.
Mike was born in Saratoga, California, July 7, 1970, a devoted son to Kathy and Keith Myles, much loved brother to Lori Myles, and uncle to Rachel.
Mike grew up on Lake Boon in Stow, attending Nashoba Regional High School, then went on to graduate from Colorado State University. He loved all sports, playing soccer with the Harvard Blues, and was a big fan of the Patriots, the Red Sox, and the Bruins, but most of all he loved coaching soccer with his boys. Mike also loved playing guitar with his buddies in the band “The 11th Room.” On winter weekends he loved to ski, and summer weekends he could be found boating on Bare Hill Pond or piloting his father’s airplane out of Minute Man Air Field in Stow.
Family and friends gathered to honor and remember Mike for a period of visitation and life celebration Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Badger Funeral Home in Littleton. Interment was private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harvard Youth Soccer and Harvard Youth Baseball Associations.
