As a past cemetery commissioner for over 20 years, it bothers me that citizens are complaining about the condition of the grounds at Bellevue. On Memorial Day the area should be a showplace honoring our folks that have passed. Apparently this did not happen. What seems to be the problem? This should be top of the list for Department of Public Works priorities, in my opinion. Hopefully those in charge realize the problem and will not allow this to happen in the future.
