The winter season is nearly over. The girls basketball team lost its MIAA Central Division 3 quarterfinal game to Leicester last week after a resounding win in its first-round game against Ayer Shirley. Five members of the boys Alpine ski team and two members of the girls team were scheduled to race in this week’s state championships, the last postseason winter event in which Bromfield will compete. Look for results in next week’s paper. Spring sports get underway at the end of March.
