Seventy people attended the Arm in Arm event on a Sunday afternoon to hear Harvard Police Chief Ed Denmark give a presentation on the complexities of instant decisions for police as well as the rest of us.
Chief Denmark is a recognized leader in this country for his expertise on implicit bias and has given similar presentations to police and citizens across our commonwealth, country, and internationally. Arm in Arm is most appreciative of his presentation, which was insightful, provocative, and engaging. Clearly, it is a topic he cares deeply about. Chief Denmark’s enthusiasm for the topic elicited much audience participation. Harvard is indeed fortunate to have a police chief with such expertise. Thank you, Chief Denmark.
