The 2019 fall season came to an end last week for the Bromfield girls soccer and cross-country teams, while the boys soccer players are headed to the state championship playoffs for the third straight year. Girls soccer lost their Division 3 semifinal matchup with Holy Name, 3-2, in Marlborough last week. The girls cross-country runners ended their season with a seventh-place finish at the Division 2 All-State championship in Gardner.


Boys cross-country (2-2, 3-2)

  • 11/9 MIAA All-State Division 2 Championship. Will Squire finished 50th in a field of 178 runners with a time of 17:45 minutes.

Girls cross-country (4-0, 5-0)

  • 11/9 MIAA All-State Division 2 Championship. Team placed seventh among 20 qualifying Massachusetts schools. Tessa McClain placed fourth among 176 runners.

Boys soccer (7-0-1, 16-1-4)

  • 11/14 MIAA Central Division 4 final vs. Littleton High School, 1-0 win.
  • 11/19 MIAA State Division 4 semifinal vs. Lenox Memorial High School, NA
