Harvard resident and author Anne Perkins has written “Yale Needs Women: How the First Group of Girls Rewrote the Rules of an Ivy League Giant,” based on five years of archival research and eighty oral histories, telling the story of the young female students who broke the gender barrier at Yale University in 1969. Join Perkins at Fivesparks Sunday, Dec. 8, at 4 p.m. as she shares new stories about these first women students. There will be a reception with hot cider, wine, and cheese following the program. Books will be available for signing.
