Stereotypes divide us; stories connect us. This fall, the Harvard Press will offer a free, two-day workshop to teach students how to interview and write the untold stories of Harvard workers and residents. The workshop, a pilot project, will be limited to six students enrolled in grades 8 through 12, at the Bromfield, Parker Charter, or Immaculate Heart schools. Sessions will be held in Harvard at the UU Fellowship Building on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13 and 14, and will be led by experienced journalists from the Boston area. Each student will interview a Harvard resident and work with staff to prepare a story from their conversation to be published in a future edition of the Harvard Press.
