The public is invited to a free walking tour titled, “Ice, Innovation & Impoundment – The Ayer Ice House Dam On the Nashua River” Thursday, July 18 (rain or shine), from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The tour, which is part of the Nashua River Watershed Association’s year-long 50th anniversary celebration, will explore the volumes of history and heritage of this location at 323 West Main Street in Ayer.
